"Beyond Bio-Based: Arkema’s Super-Sustainable
Polyamide 11"
Arkema's multiple fast-moving sustainability projects related to their long chain polyamides have made significant progress in the past year. This presentation will review how our offering has evolved to deliver high performance materials that further reduce the carbon footprint and waste of our customers. Updates will be provided on our new recycling business, our new bio-polymer plant, and some new partnerships we've made with downstream customers to provide sustainable automotive components. We will also discuss how we're working with the farmers of our bio-feedstocks, how we're reducing the carbon footprint of our manufacturing, and more!
Rob Kaminsky is a Business Development Engineer in the High Performance Polymers group at Arkema. He has been supporting the automotive industry through various positions in this group for over four years, and currently focuses on finding ways their advanced material portfolio can support emerging technologies such as battery electric and fuel cell electric vehicles. Rob earned his degree in Material Science and Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and he is currently pursuing an MBA from Villanova University.
